Board meeting and Police Presentation
Prairie Hills Neighborhood Association board meeting will feature police Lt. John Paterson with information on police calls.  The meeting is at the West District Police Station community room (1710 McKenna) and is open to the public. The agenda includes discussion of future activities and meetings.  Topics may include gangs, traffic calming, more on our cultures.

E-waste recycling
The fourth annual e-waste recycling day is set for June 16 at the Alliant Energy Center. Acceptable e-waste includes personal computers, computer mice, keyboards and monitors, printers, scanners, fax machines, TVs of any size, calculators, cellphones, radios, stereos, telephones, DVD and CD players, and VCRs.  Drop-off, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be in the back parking lot of the Alliant Energy Center.  Drivers are asked to enter either the main entrance off Rimrock Road or the entrance off Olin Avenue.
FOR NEIGHBORHOOD KIDS
June 18    2 -5 p.m.
Kids Activity Day on Theresa Terrace. 
On Mondays from 2-5 starting June 18, children, ages 5-17, in the Theresa/Hammersley area can enjoy a variety of activities, from arts and crafts to sports and games.  This week a special program on “The Wonders of Physics” will be included.  The days are sponsored by Hammersley Area Neighbors and run by volunteers.

Elementary Drop-In Program (entering grades 1-5) Monday-Friday 1:15-2:00 p.m.
Meadowood Park Program (entering grades 1-5) Monday-Friday 2-5 p.m.
Middle School Camp (entering grades 6-8 and 9-12. 2:30-6 p.m.
