Open house for viewing and commenting on the proposed Zoning Map for Downtown Madison at the Madison Senior Center (First Floor) 330 West Mifflin Street.  The Zoning Map and Downtown and Urban Districts will be reviewed by the Plan Commission in September and  October.  After adoption by the Common Council, the new Zoning Code and Map will take effect early in 2013.

Bus rapid transit, or BRT, is a high-frequency, high-capacity, limited-stop service that can run on city streets or dedicated lanes, or even in a rail corridor.  This is a public meeting sponsored by the Madison Area Transportation Planing Board to look at a possible bus rapid transit system and routes.
