Madison Common Council will vote on purchasing a duplex on Theresa Terrace for a neighborhood center.  The meeting is in the City-County Building (210 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd), Room 201. A lending program of American Girl dolls will begin Friday at the Meadowridge Library and the Meadowood Neighborhood Center.  A very generous donor has given the dolls.
Sue at the neighborhood center will coordinate lending a pair of Bitty Baby twins.  Jody, the library’s youth services librarian, will coordinate lending a Caroline doll and a modern American Girl doll. Contact Jody at the library (288-6160) or Sue at the neighborhood center (467-8360) for more information about borrowing the dolls.
Both the library and the neighborhood center are accepting donations of clothes and accessories for our dolls.

Tax Assistance from AARP
The Madison Senior Center and the Fitchburg Senior Center are AARP sponsored tax sites. This service is designed for those with low to moderate income, catering especially to those over age 60. Tax counselors can assist, complete and electronically file your taxes. We reserve the right to defer tax returns that are too complex or time-consuming. Appointments are required.
