Thursday, July 3  7:00 -10:00 p.m.
Free Fireworks at Elver Park.  You may enter at 7:00 p.m.  Fireworks start at 9:30. Carry-ins fine. No alcohol.
Friday, July 4th  4:00-6:00 p.m.
Prairie Hills July 4th picnic.  Pilgrim Park on Pilgrim Road. Fun, games, bike decorating and parade, arts and crafts.  Hot dogs, brats, and buns provided.  Bring a dish to share and maybe a grill.  Tell your neighbors and friends.
Friday, July 4th  9:30 a.m.
Waltham Park Neighborhood July 4th Bike Parade.  Have the kids decorate their bikes, trikes, strollers, scooters and join us for amorning of fun! Come in costume or bring a flag to wave. Line up is at 9:30 am at the circle end of Waltham Road (intersection of Pilgrim and Waltham Roads).  Parade starts at 10 and progresses down to Waltham Park.  Share in pot-luck style snacks.  Bring some to share.  Or try your skills in face-painting, balloon figure making, or as a musician. 14th Annual Beach Days Blood Drive.To help with summer blood needs the American Red Cross is sponsoring the 14th Annual Beach Days Blood Drives at the Sheraton Hotel on June 30 and the Madison West & East Donor Centers on June 30, July 1, 2, 3, and 5. Concert in the Breese. Join the Madison Parks Foundation for a night of music, food and drink at Breese Stevens Field to celebrate 120 years of parks. The concert is free. You can buy a beer from the Great Dane and get great eats from Monty’s Blue Plate and The Avenue Bar.
