Design workshops for Madison in Motion, the City’s Transportation Master Plan. This is an opportunity for residents from throughout the city to share their ideas on how Madison can address its current and future transportation needs. The series of four workshops will be held at the Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin Street.

Family Day at the Zoo. This free event will celebrate zookeepers and science at the Henry Vilas Zoo. The Friends of the Henry Vilas Zoo will be celebrating its 100th year, so the first 100 people through the gates will receive a free ice cream cup!

Foundations for the Trades Academy in August.  Sign up for info session July 16.The program includes job readiness training, preparation to qualify for any of the 17 construction apprenticeships available and actual construction site experience. Participants receive First Aid/CPR training and obtain an OSHA-10 certification. Applicants must to see if they qualify for the program and to sign up for an information session. Sponsored by the partnership of CTI-START, Operation Fresh Start and the Urban League of Greater Madison, with the support of the Workforce Development Board of South Central Wisconsin.

Movie day at the Fitchburg Senior Center.  The Grand Budepest Hotel.  The popcorn and the movie are free.  Donations gladly accepted.

Saturday Girls Club at the Good Shepherd Church (5701 Raymond Road).  For girls in grades 5-9.  Arts and crafts, movies, field trips, lunch.  Call Kelsey at sign up at 832-641-8498.
