Over the Counter Medicine Safety Study. The University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy is looking for adults aged 65 and older to participate in a reasearch study to learn about selection of over the counter medications.  You would do a 30-45 minute interview at the Monona Shopko pharmacy and would be reimbursed $25.  If interested, call Jamie at 608-262-3312 or email jamie.stone@wisc.edu.

Wednesday, Dec. 3  5:30-6:15  p.m.  Read to a Dog. For school-age children (K-5).  What fun.  Read aloud to a furry friend.  First come first served. At the Meadowridge Library.
Thursday, Dec. 4 3:00-6:00 p.m.  Indoor Farmers’ Market at the Fitchburg Senior Center, upper level Community Center (5510 Lacy Road).
 
Friday, Dec. 5  2:00 p.m.  Classic English Tea, featuring a tea service and delicacies in three courses: savory, scones and sweet.  At the Madison Senior Center (330 W. Mifflin). Tickets are $20 per person.  Reservations through Monday, Dec. 1 at noon.  Call 266-6581.
 
Saturday, Dec. 6 1:00 p.m.   Cookie Fun.  “Run, run as fast as you can.  You can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man.”  Catch stories, games and more at this fast-paced family program.  Participants will get to take home their own decorated cookie.  Children 6 and under need to be accompanied by an adult. At the Meadowridge Library.
