School Referendum.  On April 7, Madison will vote on a referendum to fix up a number of Madison’s schools.  Community and Schools Together (CAST), a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting public schools in the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD), is asking for your help. Foundations for the Trades Academy (an apprenticeship program to prepare for a career in the construction industry) information sessions.  The Academy will hold their seven-week training program starting Feb. 16. Meeting to Develop a Traffic Plan for Falk School.  Falk School is in the process of improving the traffic patterns during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up on Woodington Way.  Parents and neighbors are invited to the school to work out a plan to be instituted as soon as possible.  In the Music Room. Children welcome.  Open schoolhouse at the same time.
