School Referendum.  There is a School Facilities Referendum up for a vote on the April 7th ballot.  If passed, Madison schools will receive $41 million in funds designated entirely to facility renovations, long-overdue additions, and critically needed IT infrastructure upgrades.  For additional information on the Referendum and Facilities Plan Specifics, please visit:  https://buildings.madison.k12.wi.us/referendum-school-facilities.

Monday, March 16  6:30 p.m. Prairie Hills Neighborhood Association Board Meeting at Good Shepherd Church, room 6.  The meeting will concentrate on planning events and activities for spring and summer.

Tuesday, March 17 11:00 a.m.  St. Patrick’s Day Lunch and Entertainment at the Fitchburg Senior Center.  Traditional Irish tunes, followed by a corned beef dinner.  Reservations are necessary for lunch.  Reserve by noon on Monday.  Call 270-4290.

COMING SOON:

Monona Terrace offers mindfulness meditation at no cost for the public.  The sessions will take place at Monona Terrace from 11:45am to 12:30pm on Mondays, March 23 through May 18 (no class April 20) in the Community Terrace located on level two.  Chairs will be available.
