Become a Special Registration Deputy. The City of Madison Clerk has scheduled Special Registration Deputy (SRD) training session which will cover how to register voters. Attendees will be authorized as a City SRD’s. The one-hour sessions will also address Voter Photo ID, absentee voting, and the election process. Click on the link below for calendar and locations. Join the Summer Reading Club. Starting June 1 kids can go to any Madison Public Library, including Meadowridge, to sign up for the Summer Reading Club. Every hour of reading or being read to counts toward great prizes, including fee event tickets or free pizza, a super hero mask, and more.

Painting and Drawing Studio at the Fitchburg Senior Center. It’s a drop in painting day to include all media of painting or drawing. No formal instruction. Just share ideas.

Wisconsin Book Festival Event: Dry Bones by Craig Johnson. At the HotelRED – (1501 Monroe St). The Wisconsin Book Festival and Mystery to Me Bookstore present New York Times bestselling author, Criag Johnson, for the 13th installation of the beloved Longmire mystery series, which inspired the hit TV show Longmire, soon to be on Netflix for its upcoming fourth season.
