​​Madison Public Library Tell Us  The​ ​library is reaching out for community input with the Tell Us campaign.  You can learn more about the campaign, and how to participate at madison public ​​library or by stopping in at the neighborhood library (e.g., the Meadowridge branch is on Raymond Rd.).

Dogs in Parks​ ​The City of Madison has established a new “​​Dogs in Parks” pilot program to allow dogs, on-leash, in more parks.  Click for more information

​​Article​: ​The October 31 Wisconsin State Journal included an ​​article on the public safety effort set to begin on the Southwest side of Madison soon, funded by a federal grant.  See the article here .

​​Maker Monday Make your way to fun featuring a rotating craft/activity; music making, painting, video recording, you’ll never know what we’ll have you make next!  Meadowridge Library Teens (grades 6-12)

​​Read to a Dog  Bring a favorite book and read aloud to a furry friend. Time slots available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Main target is children grades K-5.  Meadowridge library.

​​Knitting at the Library Learn to knit or bring your current project. Supplies provided. Children under 8 must have an adult present.  Meadowridge Library.  All ages.

​​Wreath-Making Workshop   Green wreath bases and donated ornamental items will be available to use. If you have extra trinkets (holiday or otherwise) to add to a wreath, bring them along.  Madison Senior Center, 330  W. Mifflin St.  You can also order wreaths, by November 13 (see the ​​November Newsletter for details).

​​Friday, Nov. 6 7pm – 11pm
​​Lip Sync for Schools  Lip sync battles between community leaders with the audience determining a winner. The night also features a silent auction, photo booth, food and drink. Tickets are $40.  The Brink Lounge, 701 East Washington Ave.​  ​​​Click here for more information.​​

Friends of Sequoya Library Book Sale  Location: 442 Westgate Mall, Madison WI 53711. Next to TJMaxx in Westgate Mall. Thousands of books for sale each month. Most books are donations, some library withdrawals also for sale.  ​​
