Leaf collection.  According to the city, if your trash is collected on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, your leaves will likely be collected this coming week.

Winter Parking. Alternate side parking begins on November 15 and is in effect seven days a week, regardless of weather conditions.  Park on the EVEN house numbered side of the street on even numbered days from 1-7am.  Park on the ODD house numbered side of the street on odd numbered days from 1-7am.

Public input on the Madison Capital Budget–Midtown Police Station.  Four Southwest Madison associations have endorsed the plan to build a police station on Mineral Point Rd in 2016 to relieve overcrowding and improve response times at the West Station. The public is invited to comment either by speaking or just registering for or against.  At the City-County Building, Common Council Meeting room.

Madison Holiday In Lights opens in Olin Park.  Lighted holiday-themed displays. Drive through any time from dusk until dawn to enjoy this magical light show for free. Candy canes are handed out from 4:30pm-10:00 pm each evening.
