New Year “Observed” – Madison Public Libraries and most other activity centers (e.g., Senior Centers) are closed.
Tue., Jan. 3 6:00pm-8:00pm Table Top Game Night.    The Meadowridge Library has a ton of tabletop games, just waiting to be played!  Meadowridge Library, Raymond Rd.

Tue., Jan 3 1:00pm-3:45pm Watercolor Painting for All Levels.  Explore the many ways to mix color to improve your paintings and have fun doing it. Each class starts with a demonstration. Students may apply new techniques into their own project or work on the exercises. Class Fee $15 per class, please pay instructor directly. Wed., Jan. 4 3:30pm-5:00pm Chess Club.  Learn how to play chess and play against others with varied levels of experience. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.  Meadowridge Library.

Thr., Jan 5 1:00pm-3:00pm West Madison Senior Center Movies:  “Florence Foster Jenkins” – The true story of Florence Foster Jenkins, the legendary New York heiress and socialite who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming a great opera singer. The voice she heard in her head was beautiful, but to everyone else it was hilariously awful.  Madison West Senior Center, 602 Sawyer Terrace.

Fri., Jan 6 6:00pm-7:00pm Forward Theater Play Club:  Outside Mullingar.  It’s fun and easy to take part: just register to attend, check out a script and study guide at the library, and then head to your library for the discussion. A conversation will be led by a Forward Theater Company artist, and scenes from the play will be read aloud by Forward Theater actors.  Alicia Ashman Library, 733 N.
