​​Tuesdays at 2:00ish: Bats Live! These superheroes of the night sky are responsible for worldwide pest control, seed dispersal, and pollination among other benefits. Jennifer Redell, WDNR bat biologist, will teach about the importance of these amazing animals and unearth the mysteries of Wisconsin’s bats. Jennifer will be accompanied by live bat ambassadors! The presentation room will be dark, so not recommended for very young children. Grown-ups should plan to sit with their little ones. No registration necessary. Sequoya Library.

​​Butterfly Action Day. Local monarch conservation organizations present interactive displays focused on monarch butterflies and what you can do to help the population. Displays include a butterfly tagging demonstration, live larva and caterpillars, and an endangered butterfly exhibit. Receive a free native milkweed plant (available for the first 200 visitors) and purchase monarch hatching starter kits! $7 for 13 and over, $3 for 3-12, under 2 free.
