The city of Madison is hiring.  They are currently recruiting for a multiple permanent Custodial Worker 1 positions. Tues., Jan 23  4-5:30pm  Pokeman Club at Sequoya Library.  Do you love Pokemon? Learn to play the trading card game, during the first 15 minutes, and then compete against other kids! Bring your own deck or borrow one of ours!

Wed., Jan. 31 is the last day to register to vote online or through the mail for the February 20 Spring Primary.  To verify your voter registration, visit https://MyVote.wi.gov  If you have a Wisconsin driver license/ID, you may register to vote at https://MyVote.wi.gov as long as the address you have on file with the DMV is up to date.  If you need to update your address with the DMV, you may do so online 
IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER BEFORE THE PRIMARY, YOU MAY STILL REGISTER AT THE POLLS.

Madison Parks & REI are partnering to show you the proper way to snowshoe from an experienced instructor from REI You will be fit for the proper sized snowshoes and learn everything you need for successful snowshoeing. After fitting and instruction​, you will have time to enjoy snowshoeing through Elver Park.Participants must weigh 40 pounds or more to participate. To guarantee a pair of snowshoes to use at the event – you must register in advance.
