Foxes sighted on Winstone Drive.  Foxes may be cute but they attack cats and small dogs; so be very careful with your pets.

Tues.  May 22 6-8pm Line Dancing.  Come for weekly line dances at the Meadowood Neighborhood Center.  All welcome. All ages.  Two dances are taught each week.  Suggested donation $3.00.

Wed., May 23 9:15-10:15am Balance Ball Core Strengthening.  Strengthen your core using balance balls, weights and bands while having fun.  Meadowood Neighborhood Center. Every week.  For 18 and over.

Wed., May 23 10:30am  Travel Safety.  A talk about domestic and foreign travel. A Triad program.  At Burkhalter Travel, 6501 Mineral Point Road.

Wed., May 23  1:30-3:00pm See THE POST, a free West Madison Senior Center movie, shown at the Alicia Ashman library (733 N. High Point Rd), snacks will be served.

Wed., May 23 11-1:00pm   Bingo at Meadowridge Commons.  The Senior lunch program follows.

Thurs., May 24  3:30-5:00pm  Chess Club.  Blue Room.  Meadowridge Library.  Learn how to play chess and play against others with varied levels of experience. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

Sat., May 26  11-12:15pm   Cooking with Kids (ages 5-8)  Join the Kids Chef Lily Kilfoy in this hands-on cooking class for kids and families. Participants will whip up some of Lily’s favorite fun recipes. Theme: Spring Picnic.  Vegetarian option and nut free. Registration began 5/12. Register online or call 288-6160 to register.

Sat., May 26.  10:30-noon.  A kick-off for the Summer Reading Club with activities and refreshments to celebrate the famed “XOLO” the Mexican Hairless Dog.  There will be real dogs there to read to.  Activities are geared for ages preschool to 2nd grade.  Meadowridge Library.
