NEWS

INVASIVE SPECIES ALERT

An invasive species has been found on evergreen wreaths, swags, boughs and even smaller decorations like hanging baskets, porch pots, mugs and sleighs, particularly if purchased at “big box” stores.  The ones found were manufactured in North Carolina and sold in places like Menards, Home Depot, Pick ‘n Save, Steins and Kmart (and likely others as well).  If you have any of these items DO NOT COMPOST THEM or leave them out for recycling pickup. Instead, burn them in a fireplace or fire pit, or put them in a knotted up bag and put them in the trash.  For more information see
